Hey there from LWHQ
I don't really know where the first three months of 2016 have disappeared to, time is just whizzing by; much of my time was spent getting all things bright and beautiful ready for the spring knitting and stitching show at Olympia.
We had a great few days at the show, and some amazing feedback for all our lovely designs and makes. Thank you to all our lovely customers who stopped by to say hello. We will be back next year !
As usual I have a few projects on the go, I did manage to finish the lovely 'Lavande' tho', so if you want the pattern we have it available on-line and in the shop, don't forget if you buy yarn from us our patterns are free.
Vicki one of my customers has chosen a lovely colour combo for her version, seascape I think we would call it.
One blanket finished, 2 more started...........
Vintage Ripple by Chuirchmouse - Beautiful ! I had to chain 500, that's the trouble if you have a super-kingsize bed, you need super-kingsize blankets. I just love working on this, it is growing so quickly and it's the perfect TV project, very easy to follow. For this blanket I am using a 4.5mm hook and tbh, it seems like it's the perfect hook size for the yarn and for me. VR is growing so big, it's getting a bit cumbersome to carry around so it stays at home, next to the sofa waiting patiently.
So my shop blanket is this lovely corner-to-corner
It's a pressie for Ailis, her room is yellow and grey, but those colours on their own looked a bit bland, so I decided to add the ming blue which has given it s bit of va va voom, and is really working up lovely.
Happy Easter !
