A lovely week in LW HQ this week, so much going on and lots of lovely new stock to drool over.

Sandra is knitting this gorgeous cardigan, in fact it's finished and having a lovely spa treatment at the moment. I'm soooo excited to see it next week.

The pattern is from the Drops Website (159 -2 ) and we used Bomull-Lin, a linen/cotton mix so perfect for summer

It's been a bit of a stretch thinking about summer this week when it has been so cold and grey in S.E, London, I can't believe I am still wearing winter boots. But blue skies and sunshine were on our minds when we took delivery of this beautiful Jaipur cotton from Katia

We have been looking out for a pattern and I found this on the Katia website, this top is 'so me', it's exactly the sort of thing I love wearing,  now over to Sandra......

As well as the scrummy Jaipur, we have taken delivery of  a few lines in the Katia yarn I am so impressed with the quality/colour range, this 100% merino aran is just so squishy and soft

I have been crocheting away on my vintage ripple, I'm about 4 rows from finishing the main body of the blanket and then onto the border, I started with a chain of 500, so this is a huge, huge throw - just how we like 'em.

Are you like me and always thinking of the next project ? I have so, so many ideas in my head for my next projects. I'm very tempted to make some hanging plant holders; we have this spurious hook in the ceiling in my dining room which has been there since we moved in, it would be perfect for a hanging plant.

I found this pattern on Ravelry which I like the look of, just haven't got around to starting it yet but I'm thinking that the Bomull-Lin will be just perfect for this too.

If you want to knit your first garment but dont know where to start, join us on our 'Knit your first garment' course on Friday 29th April, Sandra will be passing on some of her knitting knowledge and showing you how to make our Cerys Cardi.

We also have a couple of spaces on our Patchwork class on Saturday 23rd April, we will be making this stunning cushion cover, I would definitely attend myself if I wasn't needed in the shop, I would love to make some of these.

Happy weekend everyone, have fun
