Inspired by Sara's star stitch scarf - I decided to have a go
Sara brought her scarf in last week (i blogged this as it was sooo lovely) and I really loved it, so much so I decided to give it a go. Star stitch was a new one for me, I quickly got the hang of it though and decided to make a snood in the gorgeous Rose Garden Big Delight. I'm really chuffed with the end result, and minimum ends to sew in as it's a variagated yarn which is always a winner. Now who is the lucky person who is getting this for xmas ?
I chained 204, worked the star stitch into the foundation chain and joined the ring after round 1, so the right side was always facing me working in the round, there is a definite right and wrong side, so this made the snood extra lovely.
It took less than two balls of yarn, so a great pressie idea.
