Things that made me smile yesterday
It was so grey and miserable when I woke up yesterday morning, breakfast and a soggy dog walk for me, having said that Baht always makes me smile, he doesn't mind the rain and chases after balls to his hearts content. Whippet walking is good for the soul.
Another thing to make me smile were the lovely spring flowers Jo brought in to wish Little Woollie Happy New Year
This is my favourite time of year for flowers, they just say 'spring is on its way'. Over a lovely cup of coffee Jo & I had a (not so) quick meeting to plan the courses for our spring/summer schedule. It's always difficult to decide what to include and what to leave for later on, particularly as we are always brimming with ideas, so there was lots of excited jabbering 'what about this ?' and 'what about that?'. Anyhow decisions have been made, so look out for our new course list.
Things got better and better, I always beam when I get emails from my lovely customers with pics of their latest creations. It just reminds me of how lucky I am to have such an awesome job and amazing customers. Also how great it is to see the fab things people have made with their new skills. This ripple pattern blanket is another project from Liz and I love it !
Smiley moment no.4, Emma (sister in-law and Patchwork tutor extraordinaire) txt'd me to say she has started making our Daphne Dress, all cut out and ready for sewing, I just love to see our patterns in action as I know the end result will be brilliant, keep us posted Em !
