Well that was a very eventful 4 days, and very tiring too.

Packing up is really weird as it's really sad to see our lovely stall dismantled and looking bereft

and the thought of unpacking everything and the post show aftermath is a tad daunting, mix this up with the joy of knowing that I will be back in my normal little life in my lovely little shop and yeah, it does feel a bit weird.

BUT, what a fantastic few days, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many new people and spreading the LW word, we got so much lovely feedback about the stand and our lovely vibe.

The real star of the show for us was our knitted Joseph ripple blanket, it was admired by hundreds and fawned over all day long.

So many people thought it was crocheted, and were pleasantly surprised to find out it was knitted and they could get a kit to make it. Thank you Sandra for this lovely pattern and getting it finished in time for the show - I know you were knitting into the early hours. I wish you could have heard some of the fantastic comments.

A massive thanks to all my helpers on the stand, we totally rocked the show, and also huge thanks to our lovely customers who stopped by to say hello, it always makes me feel so thrilled to be reminded that LW has this massive 'supporters club', aw ! I'm getting all emotional.

The show was so inspirational and my head is spinning with ideas for new projects, and talking of spinning; one of my customers Sandra (another Sandra), spins her own wool and we are getting our heads together in the next couple of weeks to organise a spinning demonstration in the shop, how cool will that be ?

Must dash now, I've got a whippet to walk and then back to the shop for some more unpacking and sorting out all my orders from the show, don't worry ladies they will be with you very soon.

xx

Tracy:

Well done Trudi. Your stall looked amazing, just like the shop. So pleased it was a roaring success for you! Your stall was by far the star of the show!
