New Year Dressmaking - 2 Garment Course - Thursday Evenings Starts 7th January
Following the massive success we have had with these garments and how fabulous they are when they are made up, we have the perfect course for you.
Suitable for someone with some knowledge of sewing with a machine, perhaps you have already been on our Sew Technical course and want to progress onto garment making. Our expert dressmaker Joanne will will take you step by step through the construction process for each garment, building your dressmaking skills as the course progresses.
Join us for a 9 x Thursday evenings and learn to make:
Florrie - you can choose to make the top or the dress
Florrie has subtle shaping at the bust extending to an A-line hem with side-splits for that floaty look we all like.
A lined Cocoon Coat
Our cocoon coat is a 1960's inspired with clever darts in the hem giving it the beautiful cocoon shape which is extremely flattering on all body shapes.
Over the course of 9 weeks (with a break for half term) you will learn to make these 2 garments which we have chosen as they each show you specific dressmaking techniques which increase in complexity as the course progresses. We have designed the patterns especially for Little Woollie as part of our own indie pattern label, these patterns are included as part of the course, so you will be able to use them again and again.
The garments have been designed to be simple to make, yet stunning to wear; with that 'high end' vibe that we all want..
We take a maximum of 7 people on the course to ensure you get all the help and instruction you need.
This course costs £190.00 including the patterns.
